### Introduction

Debugging integrations can be challenging, especially when it’s unclear why certain processes don’t complete. In such cases, having the ability to write custom logs becomes essential.

To navigate to the “Write log message” Transformer, for example, follow _Transformers → Create a new transformer._

### Guide

Step 1: After clicking the “Create” button on the Transformers overview page, select _Data and transform data using mappers and conditions_ from Settings.

Step 2: From the list of data transformers, select the “Write log message” option. The transformer, with its required and optional fields, expands on the page, allowing you to define the type of log message and write the custom text.

Step 3: Select the desired log level from the dropdown list and enter a custom log message. This message will notify you whenever a log with the predefined level appears during integration.
