Alumio version 3.106.0-RC1

Apart from solving a bunch of usability issues, Alumio version 3.106.0-RC1 makes our integration platform more search-friendly, by introducing a new platform-wide Search feature. We’re also including a new Basic mode for the Scheduler to simplify your scheduling needs, and a looping capability in the HTTP Transformer for polling async endpoints. Alongside these features, we’ve resolved a number of UI and configuration edge cases that could previously lead to confusing behavior or inaccurate feedback.

Here’s what’s new with Alumio version 3.106.0-RC1:

Find configurations and tasks faster with our new Search

We’re introducing a new Search bar (accessible via a search icon) that helps you quickly find configurations, tasks, and environment variables. Search results can be filtered by labels, creation and update dates, and the users who last edited configurations, greatly speeding up navigation and discovery. For now, entity data and logs aren’t included in search, but this is something we may expand to include in the future.

A simpler Scheduler experience with Basic mode

We now support a Basic mode for the Scheduler, which gives you the option to switch between a simplified scheduling interface and the existing scheduler widget based on your needs. The previous cron-based scheduler is still available under the “Custom” option.

Poll endpoints until they’re ready with HTTP Transformer loop behavior

We’ve added loop behavior in the HTTP Transformer, which enables repeated polling of an endpoint until a defined condition is met. This supports use cases such as waiting for asynchronous processes to complete before continuing a flow.

Safer task actions with clearer UI feedback

We fixed an issue where Retry, Skip, or Fail actions could be triggered multiple times for tasks. These buttons are now disabled after confirmation, provide clearer visual feedback, and correctly format the affected task count.

More accurate Filesystem usage reporting

We solved an issue where the Filesystem usage widget displayed an incorrect storage size, which could lead to misleading storage warning alerts.

Correct Value Setter behavior when reordering entries

Resolved a problem in the Value Setter Transformer where moving configuration entries up or down could mix values or assign them to the wrong key.

Release dates

  • Release candidate 3.106.0-RC1: will be installed in week 06 (sandbox environments)
  • Stable release 3.106.0: will be installed in week 08 (production environments)
  • Important: these dates apply only to environments configured with the ‘Latest’ update cycle.

Update cycles

Alumio offers two update cycles to choose from. By default, your environment is set to the “Latest” update cycle.

Latest

With the “Latest” update cycle, your environment will always receive the most recent version of Alumio. Updates are first deployed to sandbox environments. Two weeks later, the same version is released to production environments. Every 2 weeks a new version of Alumio is released.

Long-Term Support (LTS)

The LTS version is released quarterly and is based on a thoroughly tested Alumio release that is a few versions behind the latest version, providing extra stability and security. However, selecting this option also means you won’t have access to any newly released Alumio features for a period of three months.

Sandbox environments (such as UAT) receive the LTS version one month before the start of the new quarter (i.e. June), specifically on the first Monday of that month.

The LTS version is deployed to production environments on the first Monday of each new quarter (i.e. July). This provides a full month for testing prior to deploying the new LTS version to production.

You can switch your update cycle through the Alumio interface

  1. Log in to your Alumio environment.
  2. Navigate to System > Settings.
  3. Modify the Update Cycle setting and click Apply to save your changes.
