Alumio version: 3.58.0-RC1

We’re happy to kickstart April by announcing that Alumio version 3.58.0-RC1 comes with many new features, fixes, and support for new Connectors. Including new user-friendly features like a handy Copy/Paste function for configurations and a new Error Transformer, along with multiple bug fixes, this new release adds a variety of improvements to make your Alumio integration experience even more seamless.

Here’s what’s new and improved with Alumio version 3.58.0-RC1:

  • [NEW] We’ve added the Copy/Paste function to help copy configurations and paste them into other parts of Alumio instead of creating the same configuration all over.

  • [NEW] We’ve implemented a new “Error” Transformer. It is designed to notify users via alerts if some errors occur in the Transformer that cause the Transformer chain to abort.

  • [NEW] We now support multiple conditions in the “ELSE IF” part of a Conditional Transformer to add value comparison for different keys.

  • [NEW] To help view who created a Transformer, their status, and last update, we’ve added the “Updated at” and “Last edited by” fields on the Entity Transformers overview.

  • [NEW] Solved an issue where a webhook called with an additional path did not show logs in the Logs tab.

  • [NEW] Resolved a bug where pagination in logs would not navigate the user to the next page when manually trying to insert the expected page.

  • [NEW] Solved an issue where configurations in certain situations couldn’t be deleted from the overview page due to an “out of memory” error.

  • [NEW] Fixed a bug that caused the memory usage of the Outgoing configuration to be displayed in the Incoming configurations in the Logs tab.

  • [NEW] Solved an issue where making an API call to Magento oAuth1.a as a Client caused a request failure.

  • [NEW] Fixed a bug where filtering by “Failed” status couldn’t be done on the Processed page due to the status absence.

New Connectors we now support:

  • Scayle Connector, v1
  • Kogan Connector, v2.0
  • Accelo Connector, v0
  • Caflou Connector, v1
  • Freshdesk Connector, v2

Very nice update, some features we wanted for a while!

One side note though, is it possible to auto replace the existing conditional transformers with the new version that acts the same way? We got many files that have these warnings and its a lot of work to replace them. Next to that, it makes the UI hard to navigate since the warnings cannot be removed. (See screenshot below)

That indeed would be great: this seems more of an informational message than a deprecation per se… To have this ‘automagically’ migrated (or atleast with the push of a button per transformer usage) would ease to cleanup

Oh it is definitely not the intention that you are shown so many duplicate deprecation warnings, 1 warning per type of deprecation should be plenty .

I will leave a message here when a fix for this is live

We’re seeing slow upgrades for this latest RC version as our UAT isnt already updated (at time of writing) Shouldn’t this be done automatically? (as stated in the release notes)

An update to the dashboard was just released (version 4.322.4). To improve the functionality of this info box. It should now only be a lot easier to navigate around.

This week we started the UAT update process later, due to the Easter celebration on Monday.

I know that the UAT updates are running, but indeed not all environments have been updated yet. This is a process that still might take a few work days.
