Introduction

The Labels functionality allows you to navigate to the corresponding configurations via labels to improve the search through Alumio configurations.

With Labels, you can assign specific labelling to the list of configurations so that you know which ones are exactly related to each other. This way you can group corresponding Incoming, Outgoing configurations, Routes, Schedulers, HTTP Clients, Webhooks, Storages and the rest of the Alumio functionality for better search through the platform.

To discover Labels, navigate to the overview page of the Alumio functionality such as Routes.

Guide

Here is how you can work with Labels in Alumio:

Step 1: Go to the any overview page, for example, Routes. The overview page gives you an observation of all columns where the “Labels” column can be found. For each configuration, you can add a proper label by clicking toward it.

Step 2: Once hovering over the “-” in the “Labels” column, a popup will appear letting you click on it and enter a new or existing label. If you have already created any labels, the popup will display them in the menu list allowing you to select the existing label. In addition, you can create a new label and apply it to other configurations from the popup.

Step 3: Once you navigate to the Route details page, the selected label will be displayed at the top of the page letting you know it belongs to some labelling. It’s also possible to adjust the label by clicking on it on the details page and assigning another label.

Step 4: To find all your configurations with a corresponding label, click on the “Labels” filter on the overview page and select the proper one.

Step 5: Once applied, you can view all configurations, in this case, Routes, that have the “Test Label” label.
