Currently you have an option for using the New form layout Beta with a switch. When debugging/editing a transformer the new view makes my work more tedious since I have to open/close several windows to get insight in the steps.
Instead of just adapting the new form layout and removing the switch, I would strongly suggest into changing it into a setting. Something like advanced view for instance.
