Introduction

The Queue page observes all configurations with active schedulers and priority.

You can find this page via navigation through System → Queue.

Overview of the Queue page

The Queue page contains such settings:

  • Status - displays the current state of configuration:
    • Scheduled - configuration is planned to be run at the predefined time;
    • New - configuration with priority and duration time has been created;
    • Processing - configuration is running;
      • It’s possible to kill the configuration processing by clicking on the checkbox and selecting the kill process. Then you’ll receive a message about the successful killing of the process.
    • Killed - configuration has been killed;
    • Finished - configuration has been successfully completed;
    • Failed - an error occurred during running in the configuration.
  • Process ID - a unique identifier assigned to the configuration.
  • Priority - order of configurations in which they should be picked up:
    • High;
    • Medium;
    • Low.
  • Type - configuration type.
  • Configuration - a specific configuration which should be run.
  • Added to queue - this date indicates when the job was queued.
  • Process time - the time taken to complete the job.
  • Total throughput time - the total time taken to process the job, from scheduling to completion.
  • Actions:
    • View logs - allows to see details of the process run.
    • Kill and Skip job - you can skip jobs with the status “Scheduled” and “New” and kill jobs with the status “Processing”.

Besides, it’s possible to filter records by:

  • type;
  • status;
  • process ID;
  • priority;
  • configuration;
  • added to queue.

Important to note: the maximum age of records is 30 days or if you reach 1000 records the eldest records will disappear.

Alerts for Configurations

It’s also possible to notify users when processes in the queue are killed, encounter fatal errors, or time out, helping users quickly identify and address stuck or failed jobs with detailed email notifications and direct links to affected processes.

Step 1: Navigate to System → Queue → the “Alerts” tab.

Step 2: Create a new alert by clicking on the “Create” button.

Step 3: Select a condition for the alert from the list:

  • When a process gets killed
  • When a process gets a fatal error
  • When a process has timed out

Step 4: Save the alert settings.
