Introduction

When logging into the Alumio environment, you always navigate to the Dashboard page where the main functionality about the state of your environment, statistics and processed amount of tasks is represented. In addition, using the menu panel from the Dashboard allows you to create a new connection, transform data, add storage, set up a scheduler to run tasks and verify system settings quickly.

Dashboard page

The Dashboard page illustrates information regarding the health status of the Alumio environment; task statistics based on time limitations and task status; the page lists routes that have been created by users in the corresponding Alumio environment by displaying consumed memory and the number of tasks according to each status in the table.

  • Health monitoring usually shows updates about logs and tasks. When there are no issues detected in the environment, all health indicators are highlighted in green. If there is an issue, the system will turn the indicator in red and allow you to check what’s happened in your environment.
  • Statistics displays the amount of tasks with appropriate statuses such as New, Processing, Failed, Skipped, Finished and Total. In addition, statistics allows you to use a time filter based on 24 hours, today, last hour and set a custom time to check how many tasks were done. Besides, you can verify the number of tasks done for the specific route using the filter. Please note the statistics updates every 60 seconds.
  • The Routes table gives an overview of routes with appropriate memory usage for each route. Moreover, the table displays the amount of tasks created, processed, failed, skipped and finished per route and also shows the total amount of tasks done according to the route suggesting a better statistics overview of the route list.

Menu panel

In the past when arriving at the Dashboard, the menu panel was placed on the left side of the page. However, the menu was re-structured allowing to make useful improvements to enhance user experience and add essential updates to the layout. Now the main menu of the Alumio environment is placed at the top of the page and gives the following overview of the functionality:
